The 2013 season at Brands Hatch is just a few days away, with the third annual winter stage rally at the circuit taking place on Saturday 12 January. The MGJ Engineering Brands Hatch Winter Stages is set to feature over eighty cars taking to tarmac and gravel!

Sections of the Indy circuit, paddock, access roads and the venue's dedicated rally stage will be used to form several stages during the day. The event will even end at dusk, with blazing headlights, flaming exhausts and glowing brake discs lighting up the January sky.

The huge entry list is as varied as ever, with hatchbacks, purpose-built rally specials, kit cars and supercars included. The winning Darrian T9 from 2011 will be back, with a Group 4 Ferrari 308 GTB Michelotto, MG Metro 6R4 and ex-works Renault 5 Turbo 1 amongst the Escorts, Subarus and Mitsubishi Evos.

Spectactors will be able to get closer to the action than before with the infield at Druids and popular Paddock Hill spots open. Meanwhile the Hailwoods and Pit Straight grandstands will be available free of charge, whilst the more adventurous will be able to take advantage of limited space on the rally stage.

A variety of course layouts will transform Brands Hatch into a rally arena with unrivalled views of powerslides, handbrake turns and Scandinavian flicks. With many sections of the track taken in the 'wrong' direction, it's an event not to be missed!
