Tickets for Chris Evans' CarFest North event at Oulton Park on 2-4 August will go on sale at 8am this Thursday (17 January) and those interested are urged to book early to avoid disappointment.
The inaugural CarFests in 2012 sold out quickly and this year's events are expected to be just as popular. Created by Radio 2 DJ and petrolhead personality Chris Evans, CarFest is held in aid of the BBC's Children in Need charity and has already raised nearly a million pounds.
The event will feature some of the world's greatest cars take on the famous Oulton Park tarmac during daytime demonstration runs. Then during the evenings bands will take to the stage and last year's acts included Razorlight, Texas, Paloma Faith and The Feeling - special appearances at Oulton Park will be announced over the coming months. Other attractions at the three-day event include great festival food and fun and games for all the family.
Tickets for CarFest North at Oulton Park (subject to licence) are expected to sell out quickly and can be purchased from the event website. Various ticket options are available, including single days or the whole event and with or without camping - please note that MSV and Oulton Park season passes are not valid for this event.
